KeXun's goal is to make every intentional save continue to produce value — searchable, categorized, reviewable, and re-openable.

KeXun only processes data when you actively save, import bookmarks, or configure the service. The API endpoint can be changed in the extension settings — connect to a local server, self-hosted instance, or our managed service.

How is KeXun different from browser bookmarks?
Browser bookmarks store links. KeXun enriches each link with an AI summary, tags, content categories, top-site rankings, and periodic review reminders — making bookmarks actually reusable.
Which browsers are supported?
KeXun supports Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Each browser build follows the respective extension platform rules.
Can I import existing bookmarks?
Yes. The extension reads your browser bookmarks and imports them in batches to reduce failure rates for large collections.
Can I change the reminder frequency?
Yes. The default is every 3 hours. You can set it to any integer between 1 and 168 hours in the settings.
Do I have to use the official server?
No. You can change the API endpoint in the extension settings to connect to your own backend.
How do I install from the downloaded zip?
1. Download and unzip the file to a folder.
2. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.
3. Enable "Developer mode" in the top-right corner.
4. Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder.
5. Done! Click the KeXun icon in your browser toolbar to start.
